How long will my soy candle burn?

With proper care, Fleur de Lisa custom blended soy candles should burn between 7-8 hours per ounce of wax. Since soy wax burns at a lower temperature it will produce longer burn times. Remember to always trim the wick to ¼” before you light your candles.

What are the benefits of a soy wax candle?

Soy wax is an environmentally friendly product. A soy wax candle is non-toxic and no carcinogens are produced from burning the soy candle. It is also water-soluble, meaning it cleans up with soap and water.

What, if any are other benefits of using soy wax?

Soy wax will produce little or no soot and will not discolor your walls or furniture with petroleum byproducts. Also, soy wax will hold the candle’s scent better than paraffin will.

Does using soy wax impact the economy?

Yes, since soy is a renewable resource unlike petroleum, a limited resource, which is used to make paraffin. Soy wax is made from soybeans, thus helping to support the American farmer.

What are the Fleur de Lisa wicks made from?

They are made from all natural lead-free cotton and/or hemp.

What is the small pool of wetness on my soy jar candle?

It is called "sweat". Since soy wax has a lower melting point than paraffin wax this causes the release of excess moisture which the wax can't hold. This does not affect the burn quality and usually disappears after the first burn.

Does Fleur de Lisa charge sales tax?

An 8.75% sales tax is charged only on items shipped in Louisiana.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Orders are usually ready for pick up or shipment within 5 business days. Depending on the season and my inventory it could be less than 5 days. I make every attempt to process each order in a timely fashion.

Where does Fleur de Lisa ship?

I currently ship only to the 48 continental United States. I typically use USPS but can ship via FedEx Ground or UPS Ground if you’d prefer. The rate will depend on your location and the weight of your order. FedEx and UPS require a physical address and will not ship to a Post Office Box.

What happens if Fleur de Lisa is out of stock of your candle?

I will make every effort to ship it as soon as more are available, or you can choose a different soy candle product to fill your needs.

What if I want to return a product?

I do everything possible to make sure you are satisfied with your soy product. If that is not the case I will evaluate on an individual basis how that can best be accomplished for you.

Does Fleur de Lisa accept credit cards?

I currently accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
